Vice President of Behavioral Services Division
April Kyle, of Athabascan descent and a Cook Inlet Region, Inc. shareholder, is Vice President of Behavioral Services in Southcentral Foundation’s two-time Malcolm Baldrige Award-winning Nuka System of Care. SCF’s Nuka System of Care is a customer-owned system that provides health care and related services to approximately 65,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people. Nuka has earned national and international recognition for the quality of care it provides, including a designation as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. As Vice President of Behavioral Services, April leads a behavioral health system that is fully integrated with SCF’s primary care system, with behavioral health consultants available for same-day appointments with customers in SCF’s primary care clinics. April speaks nationally and internationally on various topics including behavioral health, leadership, and innovation in the industry.
