Emily Wood
Behavioral Health Consultant
Emily Wood is a Behavioral Health Consultant in Southcentral Foundation’s Benteh Nuutah Valley Primary Care Center. In her role, she works with customer-owners in primary care to assist in behavioral, mental, and emotional support as it relates to their health care. Emily has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University. She holds a Chemical Dependency Counselor certification as well as a Perinatal Mental Health certification. Prior to her work as a Behavioral Health Consultant, Emily worked in SCF’s Family Wellness Warriors Initiative. Originally from Minnesota, Emily is a member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe, and Makwa Indoodem (Bear Clan). She resides in Alaska with her husband, two children and three dogs.
