Southcentral Foundation’s (SCF) Nuka System of Care is based on relationships, trust, partnering, and the concept of shared responsibility. It is based on the understanding that patients (known as customer-owners at SCF) are in control of their health. SCF has received awards for its innovative approach and is recognized worldwide as a model for health care delivery, operational efficiencies, and relationship-based services.  

In this two-day training, you will explore the systems and protocols SCF has developed to create effective partnerships and integrate services; practice skills needed to improve team efficiency, satisfaction, and the customer experience through interactive, subject matter expert-led panels and sessions; and tour SCF’s clinical and team-based spaces.

Continued Education

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) and Southcentral Foundation. ANMC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

The ANMC Joint Accreditation CE Program Portfolio additionally supports Behavioral Health (APA), Social Work (ASWB-ACE), and Dietitians (CPEU).
