At SCF, health care is more than just what is provided at visits to physicians. It can often be difficult to provide quality health care in remote locations, and behavioral health is no exception to this. Southcentral Foundation has a considerable amount of experience with this; in addition to providing health care services for customer-owners in Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, SCF is also responsible for providing care in 55 rural villages in the Anchorage Service Unit.
