Southcentral Foundation’s Virtual Nuka Week
Southcentral Foundation’s Virtual Nuka Week is approaching! This online conference includes both live sessions and access to pre-recorded material. The conference will feature a keynote speech from SCF’s President/CEO, as well as sessions on a wide variety of topics ranging from leadership principles to how SCF has managed the COVID-19 pandemic. Following is information about a selection of sessions available during the virtual conference:
- Clinical Operations and Care Delivery. The outbreak of COVID-19 has impacted health systems around the world, with the traditional ways of providing health care services not being adequate to address the crisis. SCF’s customer-driven, relationship-based approached has prepared it to address challenges while also effectively supporting customer-owners with highly capable virtual triage and treatment, community training, and support. In this session, learn about SCF’s clinical operations and care delivery in response to COVID-19.
- Streamlining Business Operations. Being able to effectively collect, analyze, and use data is critical, especially during a crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic. At SCF, a well-established data process resulted in well-informed actions across the health system. Like many organizations, SCF immediately implemented wider usage of telehealth appointments for medical and behavioral appointments. Other responses include adapting to changes rapidly in SCF’s legislative and grants departments to ensure continuity of services; upgrading IT network and computer infrastructure to support changes in care delivery and remote work; and more. In this session, learn about SCF’s business operations response and best practices.
- Learning Circle Demo. SCF provides more than 80 support groups, called learning circles, that provide effective opportunities for growth and wellness. In this session, participate in a learning circle modeled after “SCF Strong,” a virtual learning circle for SCF employees to support and strengthen the community, as well as connect and discuss ways to stay grounded and emotionally strong during uncertain times.
Many other sessions are available during Virtual Nuka Week, as well as an online discussion forum and a virtual campus tour. More information, including the full agenda, is available here. Thank you for your interest, and we hope to see you during Virtual Nuka Week!
