Virtual Site Visits at Southcentral Foundation
Over the past few years, organizations from around the world have participated in site visits to Southcentral Foundation in Anchorage, Alaska. Site visits provide organizations with access to a wide variety of information about SCF’s Malcolm Baldrige award-winning Nuka System of Care, from the people who work in the system providing high-quality health care to SCF’s customer-owners. Now, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, SCF’s Learning Institute has launched a new virtual option for site visits.
The virtual site visits provide you with an opportunity to connect with SCF leadership and subject matter experts in real time via phone or video chat. Virtual tours of SCF’s facilities, including the primary care clinics, give you a chance to “join us” on campus. Your virtual site visits can also be customized, and can feature information on a wide variety of topics, including:
- Integrated primary care
- Behavioral health
- Trauma-informed care
- Data services
- Human resource practices
- Quality improvement
- Workforce development/training
- Strategic planning
- Community engagement
- The Baldrige criteria for performance excellence
