Behavioral Health Consultant Clinical Supervisor in Primary Care
Alyson Herman is a Behavioral Health Consultant Clinical Supervisor at Southcentral Foundation, where she provides clinical supervision for BHCs in primary care and the Nutaqsiivik program, is involved in process improvement for SCF, and also provides brief, solution-focused interventions for customer-owners. Alyson joined SCF in 2012. She became interested in psychology and behavioral health when she participated in the National Student Exchange and spent a summer abroad in Vienna. She holds an MS in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Chemical Dependency Counselor I.
Alyson is Koyukan Athabascan Indian, and she and her children are customer-owners in SCF’s Nuka System of Care.
