Senior HR Manager

Barbara Sappah is a Senior HR Manager for Southcentral Foundation (SCF). Barbara joined SCF in 2006. She is an SCF customer-owner (C-O) of Eyak descent. She is responsible for directing the day-to-day performance and operations of the employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, backgrounds and credentialing functions within the Human Resource Department. Barbara is a 2009 recipient of the SCF Living Our Values Award. She holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Certified Professional of Health Care Quality (CPHQ). Barbara presents on the SCF process improvement approach and tools, on Category 3 and 5 of the Malcolm Baldrige application, and on workforce development workshops.
