When can I expect to receive a decision on my application after I submit it?
The Student Experience team will notify you via e-mail within a month of the department’s decision.
My school does not have an Affiliation Agreement with Southcentral Foundation. How long does that take to establish?
Affiliation Agreements can take up to three months to establish with a school. You will be unable to start your rotation until this has been completed. If credentialing is needed, this cannot be started until after the Affiliation Agreement is completed.
Who needs to be credentialed?
Medical Students, Nurse Practitioner Students, Physician Assistant Students, and Residents. Once you have been approved for a rotation, credentialing can take 4-6 weeks to complete.
Which immunizations are required for a student rotation or observation experience at Southcentral Foundation?
The following immunizations are required for student rotation. Please be prepared to provide documentation.
- Tuberculosis (date of last test needs to be within last 12 months)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or proof of immunity)
- Hepatitis B Series (3 vaccines or proof of immunity)
- MMR (2 Vaccines or proof of immunity)
- Tdap
- Current Flu Vaccine
Please note that for the safety of customer-owners, staff, and yourself, all immunizations are required. Employee Health will not be able to accept exemptions at this time.
Vaccine Requirement
Out of care for the safety and well-being of customer-owners, visitors, and employees, effective immediately Southcentral Foundation requires all students, residents, externs and Learning Institute visitors to have completed COVID-19 vaccination prior to arriving on campus.

Applications for the 2021-2022 academic year are now closed.
For those who have already submitted an application, the requested department will review completed application packets in March 2020 and the notifications of department decisions will be sent out starting April 2020.
If there is availability for clinical rotations, applications will be reopened April 15, 2021. If you are interested in a clinical opportunity at Southcentral Foundation and have not submitted an application, please check back at that time.
