Southcentral Foundation’s Team Performance Training

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations around the world have had to make adjustments to how they operate. Many organizations have shifted at least a portion of their workforce to working remotely, for their own protection and to help control the spread of COVID-19. However, working remotely can prove challenging for many employees, and organizational support for maintaining teams is critical during this time. One way SCF has helped workers overcome challenges of working in teams is through its Team Performance Training.

SCF’s Team Performance Training is a 16-hour training that is completed online over one month. Those taking the training can participate at their own pace, with new coursework made available every Monday. There are also two optional live online sessions which participants can use to connect with others in the training and ask questions of SCF subject matter experts. The Team Performance Training offers tools which have been tested and used throughout SCF’s Nuka System of Care.

The training covers four main subject areas: self-awareness, communication skills, team dynamics and navigating conflict, and managing change. All of these subject areas are useful both for workers who are in-office and those who work remotely. The training involves online interactive sessions, self-reflection activities, and project-based learning.

The next training is being offered from May 4th-29th. More information can be found here. If you have any questions about this or any other training offered by SCF, contact the SCF Learning Institute today!
